SCB11, SCB12, SCB13, SCB14 and SCB18 Series Resin-Insulated Dry-Type Power Transformer Features
The transformer is safe, flame-retardant, fire-resistant and pollution-free. It can be installed directly at the load center. It requires little maintenance, is easy to install and helps reduce overall operating costs.
It offers excellent moisture resistance and can operate normally in environments with up to 100% humidity. After shutdown, it can be restarted without pre-drying.
The transformer features low loss, low partial discharge, low noise and strong heat dissipation. Under forced-air cooling conditions, it can operate at up to 150% of its rated load.
A complete temperature protection and control system provides reliable protection for safe transformer operation. Based on the operating performance of products already in service, the reliability level has reached an internationally advanced standard.
SCB11, SCB12, SCB13, SCB14 and SCB18 Series Resin-Insulated Dry-Type Power Transformer Structural Features
Foil-Wound Coil
The low-voltage winding is made from a complete section of copper foil with Class F turn insulation and is wound using a dedicated low-voltage foil winding machine.
The foil-wound coil helps solve common problems found in low-voltage and high-current windings, including high short-circuit stress, unbalanced ampere-turns, poor heat dissipation, winding helix angles and unstable manual welding quality.
The winding ends are sealed with resin and cured into shape to improve resistance to moisture and contamination. The copper lead bars are automatically welded using hydrogen arc welding.
Temperature Control Device
The transformer uses a BWDK series signal thermometer. The temperature sensing elements are installed in the upper section of the low-voltage coils.
The system can automatically detect and cyclically display the operating temperature of each phase coil. It also provides over-temperature alarm and trip functions.
